Gret Face Cleaner
1 cup witch hazel
15 drops essential oil or 1/2 teaspoon of rose-water
1 teaspoon sea salt
small glass container with top or lid
Pour the witch hazel and oil or rose-water into glass container. I use just a small corked jar.
Take the sea salt and grind it up to a fairly fine powder. Stone mortar and pestles work best for this.
Added the powdered salt to the jar and cap it. Shake vigorously. Don’t worry if all the salt doesn’t dissolve, it will after a few days.
Shake before each use just to stir the contents a bit. I dab a bit onto a cotton ball or pad to apply to my face.
After using the rosewater in this recipe for a month or so I must say I LOVE IT. I'm practically break out free even during my monthly cycle. That's a big deal, especially in the summer since my face is fairly oily and I sweat alot in the warm weather since the house has no AC.

oO . . . .I'm going to look into that! Right now I'm using a bottle of witch hazel with some rose petals in it. I too break out around my period . . . . . full of sucktasticness.
