So, I found these a while a back, and while I haven't tried them out yet, I plan to this weekend. I will post back after and tell well they work, or don't.

CREAMY SOFT SCRUBBER
Simply pour about 1/2 cup of baking soda into a bowl, and add enough liquid detergent to make a texture like frosting. Scoop the mixture onto a sponge, and wash the surface. This is the perfect recipe for cleaning the bathtub because it rinses easily and doesn’t leave grit.

Note: Add 1 teaspoon of vegetable glycerin to the mixture and store in a sealed glass jar, to keep the product moist. Otherwise just make as much as you need at a time.

Sparkling Window Cleaner
1 cup white vinegar
3 cups boiling water
10 drops lemon or lemon grass essential oil

Mix all ingredients into a spray bottle and shake well.

Spring Clean Scouring Powder
1c baking soda
1c sea salt
½ c lemongrass
½ c lavender flowers
10 drops lemon, lime, or grapefruit essential oil

Combine all ingredients in the blender or food processor and pulse
until they become a powder.

Do you have any? I would really really be tickled if you shared concoctions!

1 part vinegar
1 part water
mix and put in spray bottle.

The best all purpose cleaner I've used. Good for kitchen appliances and counters, light carpet stains, even to wipe down furniture. Plus it's not noxious to the pets.

I like it! Tried it out this weekend - well, actually tried them all out. The only one of the mixes I didn't like that has been posted so far was the window cleaner stuff I posted. I couldn't get it to not streak. Suggestions?

Add just lemon juice instead of the oils. The oils are probably making it streak.
